Weekend plans?

[LAKE]

Not much here...no company and we're not travelling. We'll do a cookout (weather permitting) on Sunday, along with church and an egg hunt. Tomorrow I'll probably scrub the front porch and get it ready to paint.

Hope to catch the Master's on Sunday.

Pool opens tomorrow after being closed since the middle of December for refurbishing. So even though the water is still really cold I'll be spending the afternoon poolside tomorrow and Sunday, supposed to be in the low 80s so once I get good and hot in the sun a quick plunge will feel good.

Thinking about going down to the beach this evening. I don't get down there enough to catch the sunset and just might do so this evening, but if not definitely tomorrow night.

Usual yard work on tap tomorrow morning. I got the fountain I have been wanting installed last weekend. I am getting more plants next weekend to plant around the fountain and to replace the impatiens I transplanted from the western side of my home. They were fine all winter, but the warmer sun and longer days lately have been taking their toll so I had to move them to the east side under the ficus tree. They were doomed if I didn't so I had nothing to lose....

Tomorrow night all 6 of my lotto numbers come up too I almost forgot to mention that [img]wink.gif[/img]

Today:

- Cleaned the house and went to Jungles for Sunday's dinner

- Made reservation for 8 nights in Madrid

Saturday:

- Going out to buy a digital camera.

- Doing Taxes.

Sunday:

- Cook Diner

Spring greens salad with grilled shrimp, olives, feta chess and a citrus vinaigrette.

Grilled leg of lamb butterflyed and stuffed with garlic, lemons, parsley, mint, bread crumbs and olive oil.

Saut?ed artichoke harts with garlic, oregano, green onions and olive oil.

Roasted red new potatoes with rosemary.

Fresh Strawberries in cream with brandy

I'd like to set the record straight.

I cleaned the house and made the reservations for Madrid. [img]graemlins/grrr.gif[/img]

The cleaning part makes sense, since trav is still a gimp, and we had um... issues over the reservations. I can read some Spanish (enough to know that I'm not ordering el gato for dinner), and can understand a word or two here and there, but even with my handy dandy just acquired phrase book, I CANNOT SPEAK THE LANGUAGE. And, of course, the person on the other end of the phone was the one person in Spain who doesn't speak English.

I'm hoping that I didn't book us into a train station or something.

Work, Eat, Sleep, Brunch on Sunday. Probably watch an abundance of sports. Maybe a little bit of shopping for some new stuff. Goofing off.

Well we had breakfast at Lindsay's parents house. I played 007 Nightfire with her little brother for 14 hours, then we headed out to my grandparents and had some snacks and talked for a couple of minutes, then me and Lindsay went out to Bob Evans for dinner. I had Country Fried Steak, Green Beans and Baked Potato, Lindsay had some marinated chicken with rice pilaf and glazed carrots. Mine was pretty good. Then went home and had some snacks , and then tried fixing my computer, then again I had Country Fried Steak, Green Beans and Baked Potato. I played 007 Nightfire, and had some snacks. Took a nap and then had Prime rib, roasted potatoes, shrimp cocktail, french toast with fresh berries, two kinds of sausage, bacon, cantalope and honeydew, procuito, salami, smoked turkey, rolls, cheese, berries, kaluha cheesecake and creme caramel with fresh berries. And that was just what I had.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Not trying to pick a fight Raven, but that sounds kind of excessive to me. Not to mention unhealthy. Maybe you should try some self-control!

Friday - D2 and I had the day off. Went shopping for paing and things to make over our Kitchen.

Saturday - Flew to D.C. for the day to tour and sightsee

Sunday - Lazy day. Did nothing, celebrated nothing.
